Methanex drops US methanol July contract to 116 cents/gal

HOUSTON (ICIS)--Methanex has posted its US July methanol contract price to 116 cents/gal FOB (free on board), a decline of 10 cents/gal from the June contract price, which was at 126 cents/gal FOB. Southern Chemical (SCC) has not posted its July contract yet. The two companies historically have set the monthly contract range.
