BASF to increase NPG capacity by 10,000 tonnes/year at Ludwigshafen site

LONDON (ICIS)--BASF is increasing the capacity of neopentyl glycol (NPG) by 10,000 tonnes/year at its Verbund site in Ludwigshafen, the German major said on Thursday. This will bring BASF’s total NPG output to 215,000 tonnes/year from facilities in Ludwigshafen, Freeport in the US and Nanjing and Jilin, China.
