China’s gasoline apparent consumption to slow down on weak demand

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--An increase in China’s gasoline apparent consumption is likely to slow down as a result of greater use of new energy vehicles. The country’s gasoline apparent consumption totalled 32.18m tonnes in the first quarter of 2019, up by 4.6% year on year (YoY), according to official data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).
