Putting value on plastic waste key to circular economy – Dow chief

LONDON (ICIS)--Giving a value to waste plastics is a key aspect to creating a fully- functional circular value chain and driving those materials back into the production cycle, Dow CEO Jim Fitterling said on Thursday. Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Fitterling said that the perception that waste plastics are worthless is one of the main factors driving the proliferation of waste materials in oceans and landfills.
