China NBA supply to increase on plant restarts; demand to weaken

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s n-butanol (NBA) market may be saddled with increasing supply in November on intensive plant restarts and weak demand. Jiangsu Huachang’s 100,000 tonne/year NBA plant restarted production on 28 October, following the completion of maintenance. Meanwhile, its 80,000 tonne/year 2- ethylhexanol (2-EH) plant has switched to NBA production.
