Eurozone inflation falls in October, deviates further from official target

LONDON (ICIS)--Inflation in the eurozone fell in October to 0.7%, down from 0.8% in September, deviating further from the European Central Bank (ECB) target of prices close to, but below, 2%. According to the EU's statistical body Eurostat, inflation in the 28-country EU stood at 1.1% in October, down from 1.2% in September.
