SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Caixin's general manufacturing purchasing managers’ index (PMI) for China fell to 50.2 in April from 50.8 in March on slowing output and new orders, the Chinese media group said on Tuesday. PMI is a barometer of an economy’s manufacturing activities, with a reading of 50 and above indicating expansion, while a number below denotes contraction.
