HOUSTON (ICIS)--A subsidiary of Westlake Chemical has agreed to buy an additional stake in its joint venture with Lotte Chemical USA, which operates a cracker in Louisiana, the US-based company said in a regulatory filing. Under a securities purchase agreement, Westlake's Eagle US 2 subsidiary will buy an additional stake of at least 34.787% in the LACC joint venture for $816.5m, the company said.
