US April sales of new single‐family houses fall 6.9% from March

HOUSTON (ICIS)--US sales of new single‐family houses came in at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 673,000 in April – down 6.9% from March, but up 7.0% year on year from April 2018, the US Census Bureau said in a data release on Thursday. The median sales price of new houses sold in April 2019 was $342,200, and the average sales price was $393,700.
