LONDON (ICIS)--Crude oil futures regained some upward momentum of Monday, partly recouping the losses of the previous week’s final two sessions. Iran has stepped up its game in the Arab Gulf by capturing a British-flagged ship in response to the UK seizing one of its tanker off Gibraltar about 10 days ago. The tit-for- tat retaliation has increased the risk of effective supply disruptions in the region, prompting prices to respond to the upside.
