China’s SP Chemicals receives maiden ethane shipment from the US

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s SP Chemicals received on 7 August an ethane shipment from the US ahead of the start-up of its mixed-feed cracker, the first such import cargo to enter the country. The 15,000 tonne cargo was delivered by its long-term supplier INEOS via tanker JS INEOS Inspiration, according to a source close to the company.
