GPCA'19: Asia still leads the demand growth of global polyolefin market

DUBAI (ICIS)--Asia will remain the main target of Middle East polyolefin cargoes in 2020, despite Asian self-sufficiency is expected to rise with new capacities coming on line. Global market players are facing a recession of global demand growth, but Asia demand still remains relatively buoyant, a Middle East supplier said on the sidelines of the 14th annual Gulf Petrochemicals and Chemicals Association (GPCA) Annual Forum currently underway in Dubai.
