HOUSTON (ICIS)--Here is Tuesday's end of day Americas oil and chemical market summary from ICIS. NYMEX WTI crude futures extended the previous session's losses but traded within a narrow range in response to a strong dollar and to a perceived global oversupply of refined products. Expectations that the weekly supply statistics from the American Petroleum Institute and the Energy Information Administration will reveal the ninth consecutive drawdown in crude oil inventories helped put a floor on the slide.
