US DuPont FY net income almost halves, Q4 posts losses

LONDON (ICIS)--DuPont posted a net income in 2015 of $1.95bn, a decrease of 46% year on year, while sales fell by 12% to $25.1bn, the US-headquartered chemical major said on Tuesday. The year DuPont announced a 'merger of equals' with US peer Dow Chemical, expected to close in the second half of 2016, the firms net income suffered from a firmer dollar against other major currencies.
