Brazil Sep industrial output declines 4.8%, PPI down

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (ICIS)--Brazil's industrial output dropped by 4.8% in September year on year, state statistical agency IBGE told ICIS on Wednesday. Month-on-month figures saw an increase at 0.5%, IBGE said. By segment, some of the largest influences on the downward output came from biofuels, coke and petroleum products, with a drop of 12.5% and extraction industries seeing a drop of 9.2%, IBGE said.
