Asian producers cautiously optimistic about PET market outlook

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Asian producers are holding a cautiously optimistic outlook for the polyethylene terephthalate (PET) market on the back of higher feedstock costs and expectations of stronger demand. Feedstock purified terephthalic acid (PTA) and monoethylene glycol (MEG) prices, as well as upstream paraxylene (PX) and crude oil prices, were higher week on week by the close of business on 18 March.
