South Korea 2015 PTA exports fall 14% on China, India start-ups

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Koreas purified terephthalic acid (PTA) exports in 2015 have declined on reduced appetite from Asian countries, sources said on Monday. Ex-importers, such as China and India had started up additional production lines during the year, and consequently reduced their imports of PTA, they said.
