US etac falls on low end as increases fall short

HOUSTON (ICIS)--Prices for US ethyl acetate (etac) were assessed wider on Tuesday, falling on the low end, on feedback from multiple sources that 5 cent/lb increases sought separately by producers were not fully accepted by the market. The price as assessed by ICIS fell by 3 cents/lb ($66/tonne) on the low end of the range to 47-52 cents/lb DEL (delivered). The spot price was unchanged at 45-47 cents/lb.
