China’s LLDPE futures down by 1.51% on softer spot market prices

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) futures decreased 1.51% on Monday mainly on the back of the softer spot market prices, industry source said. The September 2016 LLDPE futures, the most actively traded contract on the Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE), settled at yuan (CNY) 7,850/tonne ($1,198/tonne), down by CNY120/tonne from the previous settlement of CNY7,970/tonne on 20 May.
