Japan's Asahi Kasei shuts Mizushima ACN unit on crack outage

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Japan's Asahi Kasei shut down its 200,000 tonne/year acrylonitrile (ACN) plant in Mizushima on 28 July following an outage at its cracker, a company source said on Friday. It was unclear how long the ACN unit will remain off line, the source said.
