India's Supreme ponders lower rates for styrenic units

India's Supreme Petrochem, the country's largest styrenics producer, is pondering reducing output at its plants, a source close to the company said on Monday. The company operates a 272,000 tonne/year polystyrene (PS) plant in Mumbai. It also manufactures expandable PS (EPS) in Mumbai and Chennai with a total output of 70,000 tonnes.
