Asias MPG-PGI prices set to fall; MPG-USP price outlook stable

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Spot prices of industrial-grade propylene glycol (PGI) grade of monopropylene glycol (MPG) in Asia are expected to trend softer in November following the decline in China domestic prices following the sharp correction in domestic feedstock propylene oxide (PO) prices in the week ending 21 October, industry sources said on Monday. On 21 October, average prices of bulk industrial-grade propylene glycol (PGI) were flat week on week at $1,150/tonne CFR (cost & freight) NE (northeast) Asia, and inched up by $20/tonne to $1,230/tonne CFR SE (southeast) Asia, according to ICIS data.
