US PPG opens electrocoat centre in Zhangjiagang, China

HOUSTON (ICIS)--PPG Industries has completed a $20m centre for on-site electrocoat coatings blending at its resin plant in Zhangjiagang, China, the US-based coatings and specialty materials firm said on Friday. The 3,500 square-metre centre adds production and blending capacity for highperformance cathodic electrocoat (e-coat) coatings. It is PPGs second e-coat blending operation in China along with one in Tianjin.
