Saudi Polymers on track to shut PE plants in mid-October

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Saudi Polymers is on track to shut its 1.1m tonnes/year polyethylene (PE) plants within the Al-Jubail petrochemical complex in mid-October, a source close to the company said on Thursday. The scheduled 60-day shutdown is part of a regular maintenance, which is done every four to five years.
