Europe capro producers target increases of ?50/tonne for December

LONDON (ICIS)--Producers in the European caprolactam (capro) market are targeting increases of ?50/tonne for their December contracts, slightly above the increase of the monthly contract settlement for feedstock benzene, sources said on Wednesday. Some suppliers said increases will be difficult to achieve in a seasonally quiet month like December but capro prices have to go up because the situation of the industry, as it is now, is not sustainable.
