Thermal processes at grinding with dosed lubricant-coolant supply

Thermophysical model of the external cylindrical plunge-cut grinding process with dosed lubricant-coolant supply is developed. It takes into consideration the most important factors influencing on grinding process. According to the developed model some FEM calculations of contact temperatures using ANSYS program are carried out. Recommendations on industrial application of the proposed lubricant-coolant supply method are developed.
