摘要

Effect of spray treatment of different concentrations of gibberellic acid (GA_3) was studied on in vivo nitrite reductase (NiR) activity and the level of soluble protein, total free amino acids and amides in the leaves of Parkia javanica. The resultsshowed significant increase in the NiR activity and soluble protein up to 12 days of spray with all the concentrations of gibberellic acid (0.1 to 50 ppni). The levels of total free amino acid and amides were found maximum on day 14 of spray, and the optimum concentration was found to be 10 ppm.
