摘要

The growth response of Tephrosia purpurea Pers. to inoculations with the vesicular-arbuscular mycorrhizal (VAM) fungus Glomus geosporum (Niool. & Gerd.) Walker and Rhizobium sp. was studied under controlled conditions. The dual inoculation was more effective than individual inoculation of the endophytes in promoting growth, biomass and accumulation of N,P and K in the host tissues. Dual inoculation also enhanced the VAM fungal colonization and the mycorrhizal dependency (MD) of the host. Under this condition, plants produced fewer nodules, but the nodular biornass per plant increased significantly, A positive correlation existed between MD of the plants and their tissue N and P concentrations.
