摘要

The charges and charge distribution on haematite, kaolinite and kaolinite-haematite system surfaces were measured and successfully described using a four-layer model. The surface charge was also calculated theoretically using a computer programme. The experiments were carried out in solutions with KCl as electrolyte. Anion-specific adsorption was observed for haematite and kaolinite-haematite surfaces, while cation-specific adsorption was observed for kaolinite.
