摘要

The analysis of hypoxic states in in vitro systems is of high scientific relevance, as the absence of cellular oxygen is a characteristic of various pathological conditions. Studying hypoxia in the lab is a challenging process and is associated with extensive experimental effort. Through new and innovative technologies the induction as well as the detection of hypoxia has been simplified and can even be automated.
