摘要

We present a parabolic equation approach for studying the scattering of a planar acoustic wave by moving media. The wave equation governing the scattered pressure is transformed into an Helmholtz equation with a second term that we reduce into a parabolic equation with a second term. An implicit finite-difference discretization of the equation is implemented. The reliability of the method is confirmed using examples in which the results obtained by the method are compared with well-known results of reference problems.
