摘要

Frequency — and range — dependencies of compressional and shear lateral waves and a fundamental mode were investigated within the scope of the simplest model of a shallow sea as a composition of an iso-velocity fluid layer and a homogeneous half-space. It is shown that, in the investigated frequency region, the fundamental mode exceeds the lateral waves, among which the shear wave becomes dominant after some distance. It is established that, below the critical frequency of the first mode, the experimental space-frequency interference structure of the broadband sound source is formed by the fundamental mode and the shear wave.
