Testing the technology of pump-compressor tubes from 08H2G2FA steel, smelted basing on direct reduction pellets

During industrial testing of 08H2G2FA steel,smelted on the base of primary burden at OskolskyElectrometallurgical Plant for production of high-strengthpump-compressor tubes it was discovered that tube billet, madeof 08H2G2FA steel mainly corresponds to TU-1-5016-91requirements on macrostructure, non-metal inclusions,mechanical qualities and strength.The research of the complex of mechanical qualities andresistance to destruction of the experimental party of tubes thatwere made of 08H2G2FA steel in comparison to tubes, made of37G2S steel at Pervouralsky Novotrubny Plant had shown thatwith equal strength level tubes, made of 08H2G2FA steel havehigher index of toughness and cracking resistance and can berecommended for using in roughest exploitation environment.
