GF AgieCharmilles debuts new machines at anniversary event

Smarter, "greener" and more capable EDMs and milling machines were some of the equipment showcased by GF AgieCharmilles at its 60th anniversary event, celebrated June 27-28 at the machine tool builder's U.S. headquarters in Lincolnshire, Ill. The belated-by-one-year anniversary celebrated the 1952 use of EDM technology to develop machine tools by Ateliers des Charmilles, the company's Geneva, Switzerland-based precursor.
