摘要

Silicon steel is an important soft magnetic alloy used in the electric power and electronic industries and military applications. Many researchers reported successful electrodeposition of Si4+ from fluoride melts, but the mechanism of Si4+ in the molten salt system of NaCl-NaF-KCl-SiO2 haven't been reported. In the present research, the electrochemical behaviour of Si4+ on a Fe electrode in the molten salt system of NaCl-NaF-KCl-SiO2 with various electrochemical methods were investigated; meanwhile, the phases formed on the surface of the deposit were analysed. It provides a theoretical basis for the preparation of functional materials for silicon steel.
