Ni3Si (γ?) in austenitic steels of reactor wall materials (Type 316 stainless steels or near equivalent steels) is reported as one of major radiation-induced precipitates, which can affect the economic viability of nuclear reactor directly [1,2]. Several studies [3] report the thermodynamic properties of Ni3Si at 0 K without any thermal effects included. However, in practice, the effect of temperature for Ni3Si is unignorable since it often forms at a relative-high temperature and less research focuses on its thermodynamic properties at high temperatures [4].
