摘要

The world's book shelves are full of productivity systems and approaches, such as Getting Things Done, Zen to Done, Do It Tomorrow, The Now Habit, The 4-Hour Workweek, and so on. Likewise, the Web is awash with opinions, experiences, philosophies, tips, and tricks designed to help us be more productive and feel less stressed - mindmapping, mind hacking, life hacking, Moleskine notebooks, hipster PDAs, and the perfect pen. There is a thriving subculture of productivity geeks, and even nonmembers of that club spend a lot of time thinking about how we can manage time better. There is also a rich body of academic literature about productivity. Much of it appears in the human-computer interaction and computer-supported cooperative work communities, where there is a focus on optimizing IT systems to support both individual and team efforts.
