Official Laboratory Opening During National Pathology Week

The Department of Clinical Laboratory Sciences at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust held its official Open Day during National Pathology Week 2014 to showcase its new Automated Laboratory based on the Doncaster Royal Infirmary (DRI) site. The Open Day was a celebration of the end result of a major service redesign which began in 2007 when the Departments of Clinical Biochemistry and Haematology merged under a single management structure to form the Department of Clinical Laboratory Sciences (CLS).
