As you read this article in September the deadline for OTGUP decisions, for the small number to whom it applies, is rapidly approaching - 30th September. I should start by reminding you again that most of this briefing relates to the NHS Pension Scheme for England and Wales. We do not yet know precisely when the OTGUP exercise will start in Scotland but are told it will be "within the next few months", possibly around September. The issues you should consider when making the OTGUP choice are however common to all countries.
