Step Change in Safety launches new safety initiative

Step Change in Safety, the UK oil and gas industry’s flagship safety initiative, is today (26 May 2010) launching a new safety initiative looking at human, individual and organisational factors which can influence behaviour at work and adversely affect health and safety. The programme is based on a new publication ‘Human factors – taking the first steps’ and will also entail a number of networking sessions, encourage the appointment of human factors champions across the industry and look at setting up an online library to accommodate lessons learned from the sector.
