The event, a combination of exhibition and conference held in Oldenburg, Germany, represents a unique European platform for discussion and networking in which the main topic is competition on the European gas market, a market which is undergoing increasing consolidation. German Federal Minister of Economics and Technology Rainer Brüderle, who has taken on the patronage of this year’s event, gave it high praise, saying: “In recent years this event has established itself as a recognised meeting point for the active players from the gas concerns, politics and science.”
