THE DEVELOPMENT OF SPECIALIZED TECHNOLOGICAL EQUIPMENT FOR CARBON MATERIAL PRODUCTION

The Ural's Electrode Institute jointly with the electrode plants and the mechanical-engineering enterprises created specialized equipment for technological stages of crushing, fine grinding, classification of particles, dosage, pitch-carbon composition mixing and 《green》 carbon article pressing in carbon material production. The equipment has been structurally divided into complex functional modules involving and systems of dust- and gas-purification.The technical documentation was created and coordinated with the enterprises-manufacturers. The first production samples of technological equipment have been partly tested in the electrode plants.The equipment development have been carried out with accounting of physico-mechanical properties of carbon fillers and physico-chemical state of system filler-binder by forming pitch-carbon composition.
