Bury based international safety seal manufacturer Roxtec has signed a major deal to supply two massive oil rigs being built for the off-shore specialist SeaDragon. Swedish owned Roxtec’s UK operation landed the deal to supply the project to build two semi-submersible drilling rigs with a combined value of ￡300m. Roxtec started supplying cable and pipe seals for the construction of the hull in Russia and then worked on the living quarters in the UK. It is now supplying the project at the Jurong shipyard in Singapore.
