Samson Resources Co. has retained The Oil & Gas Asset Clearinghouse to sell a dozen packages of operated assets in Arkansas, Texas, Mississippi, Montana and Louisiana. The sale will be held during a hybrid auction of 540 oil and gas properties and 168 lots on May 8, 2013. The assets in Ware Creek Field in Columbia County, Arkansas generate cash flows which average about $20,000 per month. The Springhill Field, also in Columbia County, Arkansas, produces about 231,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day and generates average cash flows around $12,000 per month.
