Royal Dutch Shell Plc (NYSE: RDS.A) continues to chip away at a massive divestment goal with the sale of Gulf of Mexico (GoM) assets to an affiliate of Houston’s EnVen Energy Corp. for $425 million. On Aug. 29, Shell Offshore Inc., an affiliate of the Netherlands-based company, said it entered an agreement to sell its Brutus/ Glider assets to EnVen, a private upstream E&P with GoM operations.
