Linn Energy LLC (LINE) and LinnCo LLC (LNC) said July 6 it completed the sale of its remaining Permian Basin holdings for $281 million. The buyer wasn’t disclosed. The position is located in Howard County, Texas. It includes about 6,400 net acres prospective for horizontal Wolfcamp drilling. Current production is about 2,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day from 133 gross wells.
