Morgan Electro Ceramics introduces new piezoelectric composite components used in acoustic transducers for side scan sonar equipment.The new composite transducer component is comprised of pillars of conventional piezoelectric ceramics shaped by precisely controlled dicing techniques.The composite transducer component is placed in a matrix of polymer materials with front and rear faces electroded with a conducting epoxy to form electrical connections.
