STUDIES OF TIGER BEETLES. CLXXV. OCCURRENCE INBOLIVIA OF BRASIELLA CUYABAENSIS (MANDL, 1970)(COLEOPTERA: CICINDELIDAE)

摘要

A poorly known South American tiger beetle species, Brasiellacuyabaensis (Mandl, 1970), was recently collected in Bolivia (Santa Cruz), where itwas found while syntopically occurring with the congener B. argentata (Fabricius,1801) in two sites near and on the road to San Javier. The Bolivian specimens,although thought at first to represent a new species, have a longer and much differentapex of the male aedeagus, and moreover the labrum of females is distinctive becauseit is longer and more convex above than that of B. argentata.
