New processes and materials for the car industry

Dieffenbacher's newly developed long-fibre thermoplastics process with local continuous-filament reinforcement offers a wide range of applications in the car industry.Dieffenbacher GmbH & Co.KG and Fraunhofer ICT have expanded the LFT-DALC process for new materials and processes.In the process developed by Dieffenbacher,the plastic materials are compounded directly in the plant("ln-Line-Compounding-ILC")and enriched with additives to make them stiffer,more flexible or more temperature resistant as required for the individual component.
