According to the Dallas Morning News,the U.S.trade deficit is up to US726 billion,17.5 percent higher than 2004.This imbalance is due in part to trade with China as the U.S.bought a record of US202 billion more in goods from China than it sold.Imports of Chinese-made goods rose to 24 percent in 2005,making China the second-largest source of imports for the U.S.Canada is the largest.
